Tika Finance
Account Sharing

Collaborate on finances without losing control

Share any account with a partner, family member, or accountant. Set viewer or editor permissions and revoke access at any time.

Invite by email

Share any Tika account with anyone by email. They join with the access level you choose — no separate admin panel needed.

Viewer or editor access

Viewers can see records and reports. Editors can add transactions, categorize, and manage budgets. You stay in control.

Revoke at any time

Remove a collaborator instantly. Access ends immediately — no waiting, no residual permissions.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open sharing settings

Go to the account settings for the account you want to share. Open the collaborators panel.

  2. 2

    Invite by email

Enter the collaborator's email address. Tika sends them an invite — no account required before they accept.

  3. 3

    Choose a permission level

Viewer: read-only access to records and reports. Editor: can add, edit, and categorize transactions.

  4. 4

    Collaborator accepts

When the invite is accepted, the account appears in their Tika dashboard alongside their own accounts.

  5. 5

    Review the activity log

Every action taken on a shared account is logged with the collaborator's name and timestamp. You always know what changed.
