Fast import flow
Upload your statement and let Tika parse transactions in seconds.
CSV import works globally. Verified PDF parsers cover selected banks. A review gateway protects your records before any data is finalized.
To import a bank statement into Tika, export a CSV (or use a verified PDF parser for a supported bank), upload it, review duplicates and field mapping, then confirm. Approved rows become account records and can be categorized into spending reports. CSV import works for any bank worldwide; Tika never stores your bank login credentials.
Upload your statement and let Tika parse transactions in seconds.
Review suggestions, duplicates, and corrections before finalizing records.
Replace manual copy-paste with a reusable process that scales with your data.
Export CSV from your bank
Most banks worldwide offer a CSV or Excel export from internet banking. Download the statement for the period you need.
Upload to Tika
Drop the file into the import flow. Tika reads common column formats and asks you to confirm field mapping if anything is ambiguous.
Check for duplicates
Tika flags any transaction that looks like a duplicate of something already in your account, so you review before accepting.
Confirm and finalize
Approved rows become permanent account records. Nothing is written until you confirm the import.
Categorize the new records
Once imported, run categorization suggestions across the new transactions to get spending data into your reports and budgets.
These bank and account-type combinations have tested, regression-verified PDF parsers — transactions are extracted automatically. CSV import works globally: any bank that offers a statement export is supported without a verified parser.
